Gachanime is an anime character card collection game, playable in a browser on phones and computers. Open packs, browse your cards in your inventory and complete collections by anime.
How do you play Gachanime?
- The lobby shows the packs. Your first action may bring up a bot check; then choose a username to start as a guest.
- Choose a pack and check “Rates and contents”. The global pack and daily themed packs do not necessarily contain the same characters.
- Open a 10-card pack, then find the characters you received in your inventory.
Keep and complete your collection
In Collections, track the characters you’ve collected by anime. Add the ones you’re looking for to your wishlist and use your aura shards in the Shop to get a missing card.
Friend trades, guild listings and Market sales let you complete your collection with other players. The game shows the access requirements for each area.

Rarity comes from the global character ranking and stays fixed within a pack edition. Its rarity name alone does not tell you its probability: that also depends on the pack’s contents and draw weights. No pack guarantees a Mythic card.
How do you read drop rates?Questions about the game
Can you play for free?
Yes. Each UTC day, you get one free 10-card opening per available pack type, with no carryover. After that, a pack costs 5 energy crystals or 1 gem. Energy crystals recharge for free; the cost and payment method are shown before you open.
Do you need to install an app?
Gachanime runs in a browser with Internet access and JavaScript. Installation is optional: use your browser’s install option on Android or a computer, or choose “Share”, then “Add to Home Screen” in Safari on iPhone.
Are the cards used in battles?
No. Gachanime is currently a collection game with no battles: you collect cards, complete collections and trade.
Do free draws have worse odds?
No. Daily free openings use the same probabilities, counters and duplicate rules as packs paid for with energy crystals or gems. Only the payment method changes.
How do I continue my game on another device?
From your guest game, create an account with Discord to keep your progress. Then use the same Discord account on your other devices. If your Discord account is already linked, you’ll open the game associated with it.
